Isaac Jesse Eads was born in 1823, in Cole, Missouri. He was the son of Jesse Jordan & Elizabeth (Miller) Eads. He married Harriett Louise Brunts on Dec 6, 1840, in Platte County, Missouri. He lived in Kansas most of his life. He & his wife moved to Oklahoma Territory at the first opening of settlement. His wife Harriett died shortly after arriving in Oklahoma Territory. He died on 24 August 1905, in Stillwater, Oklahoma Territory, at his daughter's home. He was shipped by train to be buried in Olivet Cemetery, Perkins, Oklahoma.
