Mrs. Hettie A. Kephart, widow of Clarence M. Kephart, Boonsboro, died at her home Thursday at 8:45 p.m. of complications, after an illness of one year, aged 81.
She was the daughter of the late George and Susan (Souders) Carson and was born near Boonsboro. She was a member of Mt. Nebo E.U.B. Church, Boonsboro.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph L. Thomas, of near Boonsboro; son, George H., at home; sisters, Mrs. Samuel Jones, near Boonsboro; Mrs. Alta Shank, Middletown; Mrs. Charles Kline, Boonsboro, and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Bast Funeral Home at Boonsboro, where services will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Curvin Thompson officiating. Interment in Boonsboro Cemetery.
