Theodore Pierpont Barnum, 85, president of the Barnum Electrical Co., Troy, for the last 60 years and a member of many engineering societies, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Phillip Hogan, Marblehead, Mass., where he was visiting. A lifelong resident of Troy he had resided at the Hotel Troy. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School and Troy Academy. He was the husband of the late Antoinette Alden and son of the late Theodore F. and Mary Pierpont-Barnum. Surviving, besides his daughter, are two brothers, John Pierpont Barnum of Brookline Mass., and David Barnum of Florida, and two grandchildren.
The Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Mason Funeral Home, 109th street and 3rd avenue, with Rev. S. Edward Young officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
