James Isacc MONYPENNY married on 08 JAN 1827 or 1828 to his 1st cousin, Mary Blackwell MONYPENNY, a daughter of his uncle Robert Monypenny of Merrington Place.

Rev. James Isaac Monypenny, 25th Laird of Pitmilly moved to Pitmilly in July 1871.
