He married Roxcene, daughter of Simon and Roxcene (Wright) Page at Shoreham, Vermont on 20 Feb 1855; they afterwards resided at Adams where Arthur practiced law.
They were the parents of two known children: Mary and Arthur Page Brown, with whom they appear on the U.S. Federal and N.Y. State census records available between 1860-1880.
Judge Brown died on 04 Sep 1881; probate was filed five days later in the county court at Watertown. His wife Roxcene was granted administration of his estate, which also named both of his children, his daughter then known as Mary C. Ray, of Brooklyn.
