He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Thomasville. Mr. Ball loved his church and family.
Mr. Ball was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie B Mathews Ball; brother, John Thomas Ball; sisters, Mildred Leola Griner, Margaret Adelia Burke, Edna Elizabeth Harden, and Corliss Maxine Pritchett.
