George Vance McClintic, 721 NW 19th St, father of James V McClintic, former state congressman, died at his home Saturday night of pneumonia. He was 87 years old.
McClintic, an independent insurance man, came to OKC from Snyder 30 years ago. At one time he was associated with Whittle Insurance Co. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and an elder in First Christian Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs W. W. Holmes, 435 NW 21; Mrs Olive M Johnson of Denton TX; Mrs Daniel Parker of Grossbeck TX; two sons, James McClintic of Snyder and George V McClintic Jr of Sayre. (Street & Draper Funeral Home)
