The Oklahoman, Sunday, Feb 3, 1935 (extract): Mrs G V McClintic, 83, mother of J V McClintic, who represented the 7th district in Congress for 20 years, died Saturday night at her home...She moved here 30 years ago with her husband from Groesbeck, Texas...McClintic is now a general solicitor for the Whittle Insurance Co and has offices in the Hightower Building...She was a member of First Christian Church...
