Born August 4, 1918 at Lerona she was the daughter of the late Noah and Beatrice Gore Gadd.
She was a member of the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church at Hilldale, she was the oldest of 18 children, former employee of Summers Co. Hospital, enjoyed sewing and gardening and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Arnold Epling, one granddaughter, Kristy May Epling, six brothers, George, Fred, Noah, Alvie, Russell and Frankie Gadd and one sister, Daisy Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Donzie Epling of Gas City, IN and Jason Epling and wife Shirley of Hilldale; four grandchildren, Donovan Epling and wife Sue of IN, Tammie Burton and husband Greg of Newburgh, IN, Shannon Shilts and husband Eric of Marion, IN and Nicki Shivley and husband Phil of Markle, IN, seven great grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
uneral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Glen Pysell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Barger Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
