On Aug. 17 at 4:30 p.m. Bob and wife will be on the "Here's Hollywood" program - and the show will include a tour through their Hollywood home.

Lititz (PA) Record - Thursday, 13 Aug 1942 -
"Longenecker Marries Hussey - Bob Longenecker, popular radio executive, who on Monday married Ruth Hussey, film actress, will start a new assignment in a few days, that of a private in the United States Army. Bob, who annually returned to his hometown here since his rise to fame in radio circles in Hollywood, had to forego his plans of a prolonged honeymoon east, which would have included a visit here, due to the fact that he will enter the Army within a few days, according to word which reached here today.
Miss Hussey became his bride Monday at a wedding ceremony conducted in the historic Pala Mission, Pala, California. Marriage of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer actress and the popular radio executive came as a surprise to their many Hollywood friends. The two met casually a few months ago when both were browsing about a Hollywood bookstore looking for rare Dickens editions."
