Died, at the residence of her father in the city of Tallahassee, at 6:20P.M. Monday,the 5th inst., Mattie Williams Bloxham, only daughter of Governor and Mrs. William D. Bloxham, in the eighteenth year of her age.

Miss Mattie was born December 8, 1865, and received her early education in Tallahassee, and afterwards was sent to Pottstown, Penn. to the school of Dr. Butler, where she remained until a serious attack of measles so affected her eyes that she was compelled to leave school. Last year, having improved considerably,, she went to Griffin, Georgia, to school, but her eyes again failing she returned home, and last spring had a severe illness --- and it was then discovered she had heart disease.
