After the series ended, he appeared in roles on several television shows such as 'Love Boat', 'Laverne and Shirley', 'The A-Team', 'Matt Houston', 'Trapper John, M.D.' and 'One Life to Live'. On film, he appeared in 'Skatetown U.S.A.' (1979), 'Doin' Time' (1985), 'Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI' (1986), 'Hellgate' (1980) and 'The Guardians' (2010). He later returned to teaching at the University of Connecticut, his alma mater.
