Grace Barnes Hand Stockton was born in Cinncinati, Arkansas to William Henry and Carrie Belle (Fusselman) Barnes. She was the 5th of 10 children born to them. She first married Hobart Lee Hand in 1915 who died of a Heart Attack in 1942, Tulsa Oklahoma. He is buried at Memorial Park of Rose Hill in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Admiral and Harvard). In 1945, she married Lester Stockton. After his death and Grace was to elderly to care for herself, she went to live with her son Jack Hand and her daughter in law, Vera Hand. It is there where she died and is buried. Grace is buried at Seaside Memorial in Corpus Christi.
