Sarah M. Tennant Varner, 82, of Blacksville, W. Va., died unexpectedly at 6:30 PM Monday, July 31, 1967, at her home.
She was born July 17, 1885 at Jake's Run, W. Va. to the late Jasper and Katherine Willard Tennant. Her husband, the late Martin L. Varner died in 1949. She was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ.
Surviving are four sons, Lester D., Charlie T., Vernon L. and Virgil B., all of Blacksville, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Tennant of Michigan and Charlie J. Tennant of Athens, Ohio and a sister, Mrs. Emma Wilson of Daybrook, W. Va.
Four sons, a daughter and also several brothers and sisters are deceased
