Lorraine J. Gleason, 69, of Huntley, formerly of Villa Park, died Friday, January 20, in her home.
She was born June 4, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Harry and Freida Dolt* [sic] McGale.
She was a Huntley resident since April 1988, when she moved from Villa Park. She was employed by Beeline Fashions in Bensenville for 23 years, retiring in 1984.
Surviving are three sons, David Oberste and Frank Gleason, both of Lombard, and Michael Berry of Huntley; three daughters, Gloria Oberste of San Dransisco, Calif., Kathleen (Timothy) Sullivan of Riverside, Calif., and Cora (Tom) Latos of Huntley, five grandchildren, Anna, Robert and Shea Sullivan, and Jeffrey and Christopher Oberste; a great-granddaughter, Kathleen Bashow; her mother, of Columbus, Neb.; and four sisters, Clara (Ed) Hendricks of Hinsdale, Rose (Don) Schlottman of Villa Park, and Harriet (Bud) Johnson and Joyce McGale, both of Columbus, Neb.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday is James A. O'Connor Funeral Home. Huntley.
