Doris Caldwell Lineberger, 84, of Maiden, died June 1, 2005.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at first United Methodist Church, Maiden. A private burial will follow in the Maiden city cemetery.
A native of Catawba County, she was a nurse for Maiden Clinic, a secretary and bookkeeper for Goodin-Drum Furniture and Goodin-Drum Funeral Home. After retiring, she worked at Dot's Ladies Apparel.
Survivors include her husband, Jacob "Jake" Lineberger of the home; a son, Billy Lineberger of Maiden; a daughter, Rita L. Black of Maiden; two sisters, Mozelle Ferreira and Nancy Barringer; and four grandchildren, Brian Williams, Joe Black, Katie Lineberger and Jacob Lineberger.
