English Royalty. Born at Winchester, Hampshire, England, the daughter of Edward I 'Longshanks', King of England and Marguerite de France, the youngest of the couple's three children. She was also known as Eleanor of England. She died at about age 5 at Amesbury Abbey, Wiltshire, and was buried at Beaulieu Abbey, Hampshire. Not to be confused with an elder half sister of the same name.
