Benton Harbor, Mich., Jan. 30. -- Mrs. Sarah Wild Hamilton, only daughter of Theodore Wild, one of the earliest leaders of the anti-slavery movement, died at her home here yesterday, aged 55 years.
Mrs. Hamilton was the granddaughter of Chief Justice Grimke of North Carolina, and her father was an intimate friend of John G. Whittler, Wendell Phillips, and William Lloyd Garrison. Mrs. Hamilton was a society leader, and a woman of literary attainments.
