Freddy Lee Fudge, 74, of Laverne, Oklahoma was born on July 10, 1937 in Piedmont, Kansas to Stanley and Myrl (Denchfield) Fudge. He passed away on March 20, 2012 in Laverne.

After high school Fred served in the Marines. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his shop, and was somewhat of a pool shark. Years ago Fred worked for Prather Construction of Mooreland, building houses. The Prather's no longer build houses but make pool cues. Fred built some of the machines that are used to make these cues.

Fred's shop was kept in a very organized manner. He always knew when something had been moved. He liked to make tools for use on automobiles. He worked for years as an electrician and later mowed lawns around Laverne. He was a very outgoing person with an outgoing personality. He enjoyed his little dog, Missie (Little Bit).

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Freddie Ray Fudge; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Wadkins; a granddaughter, Erin Wadkins; a step-sister, Janice and her husband, Jimmy Johnson.

Fred is survived by his wife, Belva of the home; two sons, Lynn Wadkins of Edmond, Oklahoma and Lee Don Wadkins of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter, Lori and husband Allen Frost of Fritch, Texas; grandchildren, Allison, Britney, Kelly, Justin, Alan, Tracy, Melissa and husband Butch, Kindel and husband Dave, and Jamie and husband Will; great-grandchildren, Channing, Pakan, Dakota, and Addison; eight step great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a sister, Jeanie Keeler of Old Mexico; a step-brother, Larry Shumake of Alaska; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
