Funeral for Gerald Andrew Davis, 67, of Athens will be today at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Tim Keenum and Calvin Inman officiating.
Burial will be in Dement Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at his home.
He was born March 27, 1936, in Limestone County to Delphine Lloyd Davis and Inez Bell Davis. He was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church. He was retired from the Alabama National Guard and from Dunlop Tire Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Croley Davis; one son, Michael Andrew Davis and wife Laurie of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Leigh Ann Davis Craig and husband Jason of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; one brother, Buddy Davis of Larkensville; one sister, Gail Davis Stewart and husband Franklin of Tanner; four grandchildren, Ethan and Erin Craig of Cocoa Beach, Fla. and Austin and Ansley Davis of Atlanta, Ga.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial may be made to Sardis Springs Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
