Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 23 for Mrs. Emily Kessler Curry who died January 21 after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Miss Claris Curry, Owensboro, Ky. Services were in charge of Rev. B.B. Hilbun and held at the Dulworth-Keltner Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Curry cemetery near Grab. Mrs. Curry was the mother of Miss Claris Curry who taught in the Greensburg School some years ago. Other children surviving are Mrs. Norman Wilcoxson, Mrs. Ellis Wallace, Springfield, Ill., and Mr. Howard Curry of Illinois. Also surviving are half-brothers and sisters, Dick Edward, Chester and Sylvester Kessler, Mrs. Gene Vanarsdall and Mrs. Harvey Durham. Pallbearers were Colby, Henry, Marshall, Dennis, L.C., and Garnett Kessler.


Obit for her brother Benjamin Thomas:
A message was received here Fri. 17 May [1929] by Mr. E.E. Wallace stating that Mr. B.T. Kessler, age 62, had died at his home in Edmond, Ok. The message did not state the cause of his death. He was a former Green Co. citizen and was born and reared near Thurlow. He left this county 40 years ago, moving to Taylor Co., from which place he moved to Ok. He is survived by his wife and several children, 2 brothers, Mr. J.H. Kessler, of Thurlow and Mr. Arch Kessler, of Ok., 1 sister, Mrs. Emerson Curry, of Portland. Interment was at his home in Ok.
