Scotty Lester, 37, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

He was born on February 25, 1975 in Madisonville, KY to Sherri Oakley Hardeman and the late Charlie Lester. He was a general sales manager for Sisk Auto Mall in Hopkinsville, KY and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Christopher Lester; his grandparents, Frances and Sammy Lester.

He is survived by his wife, Karie Lester; his mother, Sherri Oakley Hardeman of Hermitage, TN; his son, Zack Lester of Madisonville; his daughter, Katelyn Lester of Madisonville; his step-father, Doug Hardeman of Hermitage, TN; his step-mother, Alma Lester of Madisonville; his brother, Tim (Angie) Lester of Madisonville; his grandparents, Betty and James Oakley of Nebo, KY; his niece, Whitney (Bryce) Kittinger of Madisonville; his nephew, J.D. Lester of Madisonville; his mother and father-in-laws, Kathy (Terry) Woods of Slaughters, KY; his brother-in-law, Klay Woods of Slaughters; his sister-in-law, Katie (Jeremy) Tate of Madisonville; his step-brothers, Spencer Condra of Madisonville and Luke Condra of West Virginia; his step-sister, Kelli Hardeman of California; his grandparents-in-laws, Franklin and Delores Johnson of Slaughters; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Rick Oakley officiating and Bro. Kerry Smith assisting. Burial will be in Oakley Home Cemetery near Manitou, KY.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Harris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Zack Lester, Ralph Smith, Jeff Witherspoon, Steve Tucker, David Taylor, Stephen Ruby, J.J. Arnold and Billy Anderson; Honorary pallbearers will be Fernando Silva, Patrick Stoneham, Jeff Bozarth, Wilson Sisk, Eric Langley, Bill Hughson, Mark Mitchell and Shawn Oakley
