She is listed as Emma in the 1870 Census in Morgan County with Miles and Laura Holiday.

Believe Laura to have married 1: William G. Garrison on March 18, 1874 in Morgan.

Married 2: William J. Dickinson on Feb. 2, 1906 in Morgan County.

In her obit in the Jacksonville Daily Journal, Oct. 23, 1917, she was survived by her husband; a son, Arthur Garrison, and three sisters, Mrs. Abbie Bennett of Jacksonville, Mrs. Julia Angel of Chapin, and Mrs. Alice Hutchins of Ogden, Utah.

Note: the obit stated she married Mr. Dickinson in 1895, which doesn't agree with Illinois Statewide Marriage record date of 1906.
