Funeral services for John Hood Branch, 55, of Montgomery, Texas will be held Friday, July 13, 2001, at 10 a.m. in Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul Felix officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Cemetery.

John was born May 15, 1946, in Montgomery and passed away July 10, 2001, in Conroe. John was a longtime employee of TXU Communications for over 29 years of service, served in the U.S. Navy and was a life time resident of Montgomery County.

John was loved by all who knew him. John leaves behind a loving family: wife of 18 years, Janice Branch of Montgomery, Texas; mother, Helen Branch Worman of West Columbia, Texas; daughter, Brandi Nicole Branch of College Station, Texas; sons, Raymond Joseph Snow and friend, Heather Autry of Weatherford, Texas, Clinton Hood Branch and fiancee, Diana Stolz of Anderson, Texas and Michael Aaron Snow of Montgomery, Texas.; sisters, Joy Bennett and husband, Keith of Moore, Texas, and Carol Keasling of Montgomery, Texas; brother, Norman Branch Jr. of Montgomery; grandchild, Aarika Nicole Snow of Gerald, Missouri; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Clara Walkoviak of Navasota, Texas; brother-in-laws, William Walkoviak and wife, Neva, of Plantersville, Texas, Sam Walkoviak and wife, Carol of Iola, Texas; Gary Klodzinksi and wife, Bonnie of Anderson, Texas, John Walkoviak and wife, Cindy of College Station and Smith Walkoviak and wife, Amanda of Navasota, Texas; sister-in-law, Mary Cabrera of College Station; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Special friends are Don Gail and wife, Ashleigh Sowell of Navasota and those employees of TXU Communications.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday evening July 12, 2001, in Metcalf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Don Sowell, Mike Cannon, Troy Newman, James Everett, Stan Hawkins, John Daniel.
