Grace was married to Clarence Henry Perkins on 11 Aug 1935 in Flint, Michigan. Together they had three children:
- Alfred Leroy Perkins (1936-2010)
- Barbara Lou Perkins (Bissonette) (1937-)
- *Mary Margaret Perkins (Flynn) (1938-)
*Mary Margaret was adopted by Roma (Haas) Dietrich & Melvin Dietrich. She was re-named Margot Dietrich, and is called "Peggy".

Grace died prematurely as a result of injuries sustained during an epileptic seizure.
