On May 28, 1832, she married Daniel Tyler at Christ's Church in Norwich, Connecticut.

TYLER- At the Everett House (corner of 17th Street and Fourth Avenue, built 1848, demolished 1908), in this City, on Wednesday evening, March 9, after a short illness, Emily Lee, wife of Brig. Gen. Daniel Tyler, U.S. Vols."
Her remains will be taken to Norwich, Conn., for interment." [New York Times, Friday, March 11, 1864]
