Revolutionary War Patriot
He served as a private in Captain Joseph Dearborn's company, Colonel Wyman's regiment in July 1776. Enoch fought in the battle of Bennington, Vermont, 1777 in Captain Stephen Dearborn's company, Colonel Thomas Stickney's regiment, of General John Stark's brigade. He also served in the Continental Army, 21 July 1777 to 28 September 1777. Again in Captain Joseph Dearborn's company, Colonel Moses Nichol's regiment in the Rhode Island campaign, 5 August 1778 to 28 September 1778
