Peter Francis Allen, 89, died Sunday January 18, 2015 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Peter served in the US Navy during World War II, Korea and Vietnam retiring as a Lieutenant after twenty two years of service. He then went on to work at GTE Sylvania in Exeter for 25 years. He was a resident of Portsmouth for over 50 years before moving to Rye. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 35 and Saint James Church, Corpus Christi Parish.

Survivors include his wife and soul mate Marjorie (Cater) Allen, daughters Donna E. Fiocca and husband James, Karen G. Brand and husband Robert, grandchildren Christopher Maher, Brianna Brand, Maggie Brand.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517. Arrangements are by the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State Street, Portsmouth.
