She was born June 30,1920, at Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of John and Lurena Redford Camp. She married George Abney. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Vonda Abney, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons, Bruce (Janice) Abney, Chatsworth; Joe (Lisa) Abney and Larry (sue) Abney, both of Cincinnati; two sisters, Margery Bearley, Fort Meyers, Fla.; and Dorthia Bearley, of Tennessee;two brothers, John Camp, Chicago; and Charles Camp, Terre Haute, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and friends, Bea Bronson, Gerri Cabbage, Kelli Martinez and Tammy Winters.


Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, Chatsworth, the Rev. David Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Chatsworth Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Hager Memorial Home, Chatsworth, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to her church.
