TREMONT (PNS) -- Margaret Barbara Hardmeier, 88, died at 4:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6th, 1969, at the Pekin [Ill.] Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there about seven weeks.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Culkin Memorial Home, Chatsworth [Ill.], with the Rev. Carl Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Chatsworth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1881, at Saunemin, a daughter of Simon and Elizabeth Whittlar Elbert. She was married to David Perry Albee January 1901 at Cullom. He died in 1917. She later was married to Rudolph Hardmeier in December of 1924 at Peoria. He died in 1942.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Albee, Fairbury, and Francis Albee, Gilman; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Kurtenbach, Peotone, and Mrs. Marie Overacker, Piper City; nine grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter [Mrs. Blanche Phipps], two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Hardmeier was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
