Sidney Blair, for a long term of years a resident of Elkhorn township, and for 8 years, the Democratic committeman for that township, died at Blessing Hospital in Quincy,Illinois about 11 o'clock last Sunday foreafternoon,after an illness over a period of several weeks.
Obituary for Sidney Blair son of James and Nancy (Bell) Blair:
The deceased was born in Pike County, Indiana on July 19,1870, but came to Brown county in his early life, and this county has been his home ever since. He is survived by his wife and 3 sons, Otha, Benjamin and George, all of this County.
The funeral occured at the Marden Chapel yesterday about 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Frank Berry, and burial followed in the Marden cemetery. Hufnagel was the undertaker in charge.
