Annie Mae Broussard a native of Franklin and a resident of Berwick passed away at Patterson Healthcare Unit surrounded by her family. Annie Mae was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her children and will always be remembered as such. Annie will be truly missed.

Annie is survived by her two sons; Shelton Broussard and his wife Barbara of Morgan City, and Glenn Broussard of Berwick, her brothers; Rivers Breaux and his wife Mable of Franklin, Percy Breaux and his wife Evon of Lafayette and her grandchildren; Glenn Broussard Jr. and his wife Vicki of Bayou Vista, Denise Doherty and her husband Bobby of Ponchatoula, Melissa Hebert and her husband Bryan of Denham Springs and Dewayne Broussard and his wife Arika of Berwick, seven great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Broussard and her parents Emile and Angeline Breaux, her brothers; Lennis Breaux, E.J. Breaux, Sidney Breaux and her sister Eunice Fournet and one great grandchild Devin Doherty.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2009 starting at 6pm to 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home and Monday, October 19, 2009 9am to 10am at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10am and Annie will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery following the mass.
