Allyne Villines Brown, 83, of Nebo, died at her home on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011. She attended Silent Run Baptist Church in Nebo. She was born to the late Emory and Ethel Watson Villines. She married Johnnie E. Brown and to this union two sons were born. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael W. Brown; a granddaughter, Brantley M. Brown; a sister, Mary E. Thopy; and a brother, Emory Villines.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Johnnie E. Brown of Nebo; a son, Johnny A. Brown and his wife, Sherlene, of Nebo; two grandchildren, John A. Brown and his wife, DeAnna, and Laurelle Hill and her husband, David; four great-grandchildren, Micah Brown, Ava Hill, Brennan Hill and Amelia Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Townsend Funeral Home. Brother Wayne Lamb and Brother Rick Lutz will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
