Katherine Marie "Kaye" Stuntz was the daughter of William Stuntz and Ruth E. Bradigan.

She married Howard W. Ahlgrim on 5 Jun 1937 in Wheeling, W.Va. The marriage ceremony was performed by W.M. Riddle, Minister.

Katherine died at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria, OH and was buried 13 Jun 1996.

Katherine "Kaye" Marie Ahlgrim (nee Stuntz), 78, of Elyria died at EMH Regional Medical Centere after a short illness.

Born in Wheeling, W. Va., she graduated from Elyria High School.

Mrs. Ahlgrim was a payrool clerk at Western Automatic, now Moen, for several years. She also managed Western Tire at Elyria City.

She was a member of the Elyria Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and a past matron.

Mrs. Ahlgrim was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elyria.

She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and race cars. She enjoyed collecting antiques and dolls, crafts, sewing and painting.

Survivors include her son, Robert W. of Elyria; a daughter, Kathy R. Ahlgrim of Englewood, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W.; and a son, Richard W.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Curtis-Scheuffler-Busch Family Chapel, 114 Second st., Elyria, where the Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 7 p.m.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian SMith officiating.

Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
