Hazel was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed going to church at Living by Faith Chapel in Brookhaven, loved crafts, cross stitching and crossword puzzles, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Paul Austin; two sons and spouses, Jeffrey A. Austin and Mary "Ginger", and Harold G. Austin and Birgit; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey A., Amanda, Cindy, Jesse, and Samuel, Jeffrey D., Chad D., and Renee; many great grandchildren; two brothers, Lonnie F. Hilling, Sr., and Buster Hilling; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hastings Funeral Home/Omega Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
