MELCHER, IA.--Cloy E. Bacon, 72, a homemaker of Melcher, died of a heart ailment Sunday in Knoxville. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mosher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dallas Cemetery in Dallas.
Mrs. Bacon was born in Dallas and was a member of Dallas Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Herman D.; three sons, Elmer Dale of Des Moines, Douglas of Dallas and Daniel of Baudette, Minn.; two daughters, Rose King of Carlisle and Patsy Neer of Lacona; a sister, Maxine Griffiths of Wellman; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
