JOHN ADAMSON RITES SATURDAY
Services for John H. Adamson, 66, of 243 S. E. Twentyninth court, will be at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at the Flanigan Funeral Home at Melcher. Burial will be at the Dallas Cemetery at Melcher.
Mr. Adamson died Wednesday at home after a six-month illness. Death was caused by cancer. He was born in Wapello County and employed by the Armstrong Tire & Rubber Co. until his retirement. He was a member of the United Rubber Workers of America and the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel, a son, Carroll of Peoria, Ill.; a stepson, Frederick Snethen of Elkhart; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charlotte Kelly of Indianola; a half-brother, Cleo Foster of West Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Wilbur of Buena Park, Cal., and Mrs. Mary Nadderon of Riverside, Ill., and one granddaughter.
