Oliver Harmon Adams
It is with great sorrow that we announce and grieve the loss of our beloved family member, Oliver Harmon Adams, at the age of 92. He passed away peacefully on the morning of December 20, 2015 at the Meridian Care Center located in Meridian, Idaho.
Oliver Adams was born June 28, 1923 in Parkman, Wyoming to Orel and Nona Adams and was the second of eight children.
Oliver was, and continues to be, an inspiration to family and friends. He woke each morning with a smile, was always there to support his family and friends, and left no doubt that we were loved by him.
As a father, grandfather, and great grandfather he protected, cherished, and sheltered his family. He also felt blessed daily with his wife and, in his words, "the love of his life," Dorothy Adams. Oliver and Dorothy's relationship includes 67+ years of marriage and loving companionship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orel and Nona Adams; his brothers, Glenn, Dale, and Jerry Adams; and grandson, Greg Telford.
Oliver is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Shirley (Jay) Robertson of Boise; son, Harmon Adams of Meridian and Picabo; grandchildren, Natalie (Ron) Baldner of Boise, Harmony Adams of Austin, Texas, and Shane (Char) Adams of Boise; great grandchildren, Kayli Countryman, Drew Lysne and Kelsey Baldner of Boise, and Harper Robertson of Twin Falls. He is also survived by his brothers, Mondford of Jerome, Frank of Cheyenne, Wyoming and his sisters, Peg Raincloud and Twila (Steve) Williams, both of Washington.
