She was a Protestant by faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed children, animals and the outdoors.
Joy is survived by one son, Ronald W. Beha; and one daughter, Carroll L. Hughes both of Walker, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Beha; four brothers, Virgil, Fred, Robert Jr. and Karl Swearingen; and three sisters, Madge Headlee, Ruth Peppers and Edith Swearingen.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Rodney Blanchard officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Walker, W.Va. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
