The passing of Fairlyn "Blake" Amos of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Brenda (Hayward) Amos, occurred on January 3, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 21, 1948 in Carroll's Crossing, NB, he was the son of the late Tennyson and Winnifred (Storey) Amos. He worked in maintenance for the RCMP J. Division and DECRH. Blake enjoyed the outdoors, salmon fishing, canoeing and wood carving. Blake is survived by his son, Donnie Amos of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Lorna (Larry) Belyea of Fredericton, NB, Mary (Harold) Haines of Penniac, NB, Sandra Amos of Fredericton, NB and Debbie (Jim) Amos of Jemseg, NB; brother, Hardy "JR" (Susan) Amos of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Blake was predeceased by sister, Alta Ruth Amos; brothers, David, Raymond and Earl Amos. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, January 6, 2009
