ARTHUR (BERTOLDI) BERTHOLD
Arthur (Bertoldi) Berthold, 80, of Trailer Road, Ringtown, passed away Thursday, November 14th, 2013 at the Schuykill Medical Center in Pottsville.

Arthur was born in Danville, on April 4, 1933, son of the late Nancy (Sartori) and Louis Bertoldi.
He was raised in Sheppton, then relocated to Connecticut in 1963. While living there, he worked at AVCO Lycoming in Strattford, then as maintenance supervisor for both the Italian Community Center in Bridgeport and St. Joseph's Manor in Trumbull. Upon returning to the local area, he retired from the maintenance department at St. Luke's Pavilion in Hazleton.
He was a member of the East Union Township Senior Citizens and the South End Field and Stream Association of Frackville. Arthur was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Brandonville.
A hard worker, he was talented carpenter. Arthur built his own home and enjoyed woodworking. He loved the outdoors and was an exceptional gardener, and an avid motorcyclist who loved travel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William Berthold.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty (Houser) Berthold of Ringtown and by two children; his daughter, Diane Reising, of New Haven, Connecticut and his son, Daniel Bertoldi, fiancee of Kris Birshell of Conygham. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Talia, wife of Jeremiah Sutherland, West Haven, Connecticut and by a great grandson, Tucker.
Interment in the Brandonville Union Cemetery, following the service.
