Born on July 2, 1925, in Sheppton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pearl (Lorah) Neiswender and had lived in the area since 1957, moving here from the Hazleton area.
She worked in the Shenandoah Dress Factory and Olympic Reconditioning in Stroudsburg.
Frieda was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mary E. Bruck and her husband, Calvin, of Tannersville, Beverly Treible and her husband, Terry, of Saylorsburg, Gloria Treible and her husband, Douglas, of Saylorsburg, and Betty Abee and her husband, Gregory, of Wharton, Texas; eight grandchildren, Richard Fisher, Jennifer Thornburgh, Heather Reese, Amber Cunningham, William Keiper, Cory Bruck, Chad Treible and Crystal Treible; nine great-grandchildren, Orianna Fisher, Dawson Thornburgh, Elizabeth Abee, Margaret Jones, Christopher Reese, Emilee Cunningham, Chelsea Treible, Katelyn Treible and Abbie Bird; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Bolinsky; a grandson, Michael Treible; five brothers, Edward Neiswender, Ralph Neiswender, Eric Neiswender, Wallace Neiswender and LeRoy Foust; and two sisters, Elsie Kline and Iva Kline.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. Gail H. Kees officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Brandonville Cemetery, Brandonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 9 N. Ninth St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
