William F Bowman, who died at the home of his father, W. P Bowman, yesterday morning shortly before noon, who lives about five miles south of the city, was buried this afternoon. Funeral services was held from the home, Bowman's store, at 3 o'clock, Rev. N. M. Harrison officiating. Interment was made in Red Hill cemetery, near Groometown.
Surviving are his widow, father and mother; four sisters; Miss Mary Bowman, Guilford county; Mrs. P. H. Gurney, Guilford county; Miss Lizzie Bowman, Guilford county, Mrs. C.L. Auman, Guilford county, and two brothers, Charles and John Bowman.
