Thomas R. Ball, 67 years of age, a long time resident of the Lehigh Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
Born Monday, October 18, 1948 in Pottsville son of the late Thomas Z., and Doris L. (Wesner) Ball.
Tom was a Tamaqua High School graduate, and the matriculated to Albright College earning a B.S. in Economics, and Accounting. He held an MBA from Lehigh University. A Certified Financial Planner, Tom was a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of the Lehigh Valley. Tom, was Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Partner at McQueen, Ball & Associates for thirty years, retiring in 2013.
Tom, was on the Board of Directors of Kids Peace, and several other charitable organizations. Tom was a former member of the Lehigh Township Planning Commission.
Tom served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are;
Brother, Kenneth D. Ball and his wife April of Buena Vista, PA.; nephews, Ezra Ball, Simon Ball; nieces, April (Ball) Sultana, Esther Ball, and Abby (Ball) Hollern; great nieces, and nephews also survive Tom along with many great friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
Interment will be in Zion 's Union Stone Church Cemetery, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania.
