NO George Hertz is shown to have served w/48th, Co. D. I believe this is HARTZ. Most a match. GAR marker. The 48th, recruited out of Pottsville, Schuylkill Co. known as the Nagle Guards, had 42 killed or mortally wounded, 56 wounded and 57 listed as captured or MIA during this battle. 155 men recorded lost.
