Funeral service for Phyllis Young, of Centre will be Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Piedmont. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Mrs. Young passed away at Floyd Medical Center. Mrs. Young was a resident of Cherokee County most of her life and was a member of Centre Congregational Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Jack Jerome Anthony and Rev. Granville Young; and two sons, Terry Wayne Anthony and Michael Jerome Anthony.
