Death of William H Gibson

William H. Gibson,son of the late Matthew Gibson of Mount Carbon, died today about noon, at his late residence on Bunker Hill. He was baggage master on the main line of the P.& R.Railroad, and although ailing for the last ten days, did not take to his bed until yesterday morning. Mr. Gibson was highly respected by a large circle of friends and was married about a year ago to Emma a daughter of Superintendent John Veith of C&I Company. He was about 29 years old.

Funeral of Wm. H. Gibson

The funeral of Wm. H. Gibson took place this morning at 9:30 o'clock from his late residence on Schuylkill Avenue and the large attendance exemplified the high esteem in which he was held by friends and associates. A Solemn High Mass of Requiem was said in St. John the Baptist's German Catholic Church. The pall bearers were Lawrence Toomey, Harry Logan, George Heller, Richard Sharp, Frederick Wagner and John Callen. Mr.Gibson was but 29 years of age and a young man of much promise.

Death of William H Gibson
