He was survived by his son, James (Dana) Banning of St. Petersburg, FL; 2 grandchildren, Brianna Banning and Alexis Banning; his parents, Louis and Betty Alvesteffer of Pentwater; brother, Christopher (Lexi) Alvesteffer of Ludington; sister, Deborah (Dennis) Lucero of Grand Junction, CO; nieces and nephews.
