FAMILY-DEATH: Dartes Lineage, Vol. 2 #2, page 13. Says he was from Bordeaux, France; who went to Montreal, Canada before migrating to Louisiana. Louis died in 1816 and wife Marie Josephe Thibaud (Thibodeaux) died in 1810.
