Gregory J. Mirocke, 88, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his residence.

He was the husband of the late Veronica R. Hasara Mirocke, who passed away in 2008. Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Joseph and Emma Lawson Mirocke.

Greg had worked for 35 years for the General Electric Co., formerly the RCA Corporation, in Lancaster.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving in World War II. He was a kind and gentle man, and he enjoyed gardening.

Greg was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Lancaster.

He is survived by his loving son, Joseph, of Lancaster and by several beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Reardon.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 9-10AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 929 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA. Interment will follow at 1:30PM at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mahanoy City, PA.
